Company Overview

Our client, a Japanese international trading company, is seeking a Sales Assistant to support its chemicals trading business. The role focuses on order processing, delivery coordination and trade administration, working closely with sales colleagues, customers, suppliers and logistics providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Process sales and purchase orders in SAP, ensuring accurate records and timely follow-up.
• Prepare sales contracts, invoices, shipping instructions and delivery documents.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and truck transportation with customers, suppliers and logistics partners.
• Monitor order quantities, delivery progress and inventory, and help resolve delivery-related issues.
• Support import/export administration and customs-related documentation.
• Monitor customer payments and payments to suppliers and logistics providers.
• Prepare monthly closing documentation, including inventory reports and supporting trade records.
  
  
  
  

Requirements

• At least five years of relevant experience in sales administration, order processing or international trade operations.
• Practical knowledge of import/export procedures and inventory management.
• Fluent Japanese, German and English.
• Strong SAP skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Commercial education or equivalent practical experience, with a good understanding of accounting processes.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks under time pressure.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative, flexible approach.

Salary

Annual gross salary of up to approximately €50,000 (Fixed), depending on experience and qualifications.
