This is a fixed term 2 year contract. To support this project, we are seeking for an experienced, data driven, and highly customer focused Markdown & Promotion Management Expert to join the Business Process Management team. This position will be crucial to the success of C&A's most significant digital transformation to date.

Your Responsibilities

  • Be one of the main drivers for definition, alignment and implementation of markdown and promotion processes within a huge transformation project
  • Proactively identify potential for operational (process) excellence within E2E flow across key commercial functions based on main workload and inefficiency drivers and work out solutions to be implemented
  • Drive and seek out efficiency improvement initiatives in collaboration with the business
  • Responsible for maximizing the value of the products in scope and being the driver of simplification of markdown management processes to gain competitive advantage
  • Translate business process proposals into solutions and validate feasibility of E2E process and system integration
  • Execute integration (and partially user acceptance) testing, develop training documentation, and fulfill 1st level support for related systems and processes
  • Cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, project managers and senior staff members to ensure delivery of change process or system implementation in time cost and quality

What You Bring

  • In-depth knowledge of Markdown Management systems and processes, with experience in coordinating communication between business and IT
  • Effective communication and social skills, coupled with a highly solution-oriented mindset
  • High level of engagement, flexibility, creativity and reliability to drive simplifications and process alignments
  • Fluency in English, German is a plus
  • University degree in Business Administration, International Business, Supply Chain or equivalent background
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably business operations, product management, or consulting in the area of Markdown Management (ideally promotion management as well)
