Our Deals Business Vertical sits at the core of that strategy with the goal to deliver the best deals to our users while maintaining a healthy monetization in our two-sided marketplace. We are looking for an experienced Mid-level or Senior Data Analyst who will shape our deals strategy, decisions, and optimizations through analytical insight. In this role, you'll work with people of diverse skill sets, such as data analysts, data scientists, data engineers and product managers. Your analytical insights will have a direct impact on how we develop our App and Website, will drive the strategy of key company objectives, and will be crucial for driving our revenue growth.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Perform exploratory data analyses to find, quantify, and present opportunities to increase our monetization and drive user value
• Develop, maintain, and visualize clear and actionable KPIs to monitor the success of our business unit and company objectives
• Translate business problems into analytical tasks and deliver actionable insights that shape our product and marketplace strategy and challenge the status quo
• Design, conduct, and analyze A/B tests to validate hypotheses and propose evidence-based improvements to our product managers
• Proactively share your conclusions and educate stakeholders on interpreting and analyzing results, tailoring your communication to the audience
  
  
  

What you'll need to thrive:

• Proven minimum of 5 years' work experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with focus on statistics, data exploration, and visualization
• Analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions from large datasets with a keen eye for detail in order to create actionable insights and drive decisions
• Solid statistical background and experience in conducting hypothesis testing and A/B analysis
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and at least one programming language, preferably Python (or R)
• Experience with big data technologies such as BigQuery
• Ability to prioritize effectively and work independently in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
• Great communication skills and the ability to break down complex technical concepts for non-technical business stakeholders
• Proactivity and an intrinsic drive to solve problems and deliver business value

• Being comfortable with dashboarding tools like Tableau and Looker
• Expertise in observational causal inference
• Proficiency in econometrics of panel data
• Experience working with version control like GitHub
• Master’s or Ph.D. in statistics, mathematics, or related fields
