It’s bad manners to talk about money. Unless you’re in Finance & Accounting or Controlling & Analysis—the two large teams comprising Finance at BCG. Not only do these professionals talk about money all the time, they also really have to know what they’re talking about, since they’re responsible for accounting, taxes, payroll, travel management, and time and billing at BCG. In addition to purely financial workflows, they also ensure that our consultants have the best possible basis for making decisions in our various markets.

What You'll Do

Required

The Legal Entity department, which is part of the Finance department and is based in Düsseldorf, is responsible for preparing the monthly and annual financial statements of all our German and Austrian companies. A very high level of confidentiality and discretion is therefore required. As a member of this team, you will support your coworkers on the following:

• Assisting in the day-to-day business of financial accounting
• Aiding in accounting for employee donations and obtaining donation receipts
• Supporting in preparing monthly and annual financial statements, especially fixed assets
• Supporting on projects in the field of financial accounting
  
  

What You'll Bring

• You are enrolled in a business degree program at an institution of higher learning.
• You ideally have initial experience in the area of finance; this is, however, not a mandatory requirement.
• You are proficient in the MS Office package and familiar with Windows 10.
• Good written and spoken English and excellent German language skills round out your profile.
  
  

Who You'll Work With

As a Working Student, you’ll be part of the G&A Finance Team, which totals more than 50 members. Locally, you’ll work with six experienced colleagues.
