As a Service Engineer (m/f/x) based in the general area of Northern Germany, you will perform activities required for the installation, start-up, technical support, and upgrades of Emerson systems at customer sites. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Perform Control system maintenance tasks and performance evaluations.
- Provide technical support to customers regarding process system inquiries.
- Perform system acceptance tests, installation, commissioning, training, fault analysis and rectification work at customer sites and installations.
- Assist in modernization studies and perform Hardware and Software upgrades and modifications.
- Be able and willing to perform emergency call-out services to provide customers with fast and efficient services.
- Communicate issues concerning customer satisfaction or customer requests for Emerson support to the responsible person in Service Management or Sales Management.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Completed technical studies in an engineering field.
- Relevant working experience in an Engineering or Service position within the process industry such as Food & Beverages, LifeScience or Chemical.
- Good communication skills in German and English language proficiency (written/read/spoken).
- Car driving license and willingness to travel.
- Experience within Process Automation, DCS (DeltaV preferred), PLCs, Control strategies and technologies, Commissioning and start-up of Automation as well as Server, PC and network equipment as well as familiarity with modern software tools and applications.
