We are looking for a sales orientated Security Senior Managing Consultant (f/m/x) to strengthen our CyberSecurity Services Go-To-Market team for the Industrial D-A-CH division. You will be responsible for ongoing contracts as well as new business for defined industrial companies in Germany and Austria. You will manage the customer relationship and maintain relationships with the CISO and other decision makers of your customers.
Your role will focus on business development. This includes new projects and service expansions for existing customers as well as the acquisition of new customers. You will have overarching responsibility for the entire sales cycle - from identifying and developing new leads to preparing offers, concluding contracts and providing ongoing customer support. You will be responsible for the targeted management of the opportunity-to-order process, work with the technical experts to develop optimal solutions based on an evaluated understanding of the customer's requirements, position the solutions with the customer in relation to competitor offers and make the solutions competitive for the customer from a contractual and financial perspective.
After an initial training period, you will represent the extensive IBM CyberSecurity Services portfolio to end customers and colleagues. You will support selected customers in the Financial market sectors in Germany and Austria.
You will also act as a consultant in external customer projects, for example in the areas of security strategy, risk and compliance or threat management. You are very familiar with current methods, regulatory standards, technologies and future trends in IT security. You have many years of professional experience (ideally in security sales or consulting) and are therefore able to fulfil your role independently. You have experience in selling complex (security) solutions and services and have a strong technical and commercial understanding that enables you to recognise, qualify, support and close business opportunities.

- German: business fluent, English: fluent
- Several years of experience in sales and business development
- Professional experience as a security consultant (f/m/x) or in comparable roles
- Advanced knowledge of IT security and common security standards (e.g. ISO 27001, BSI Grundschutz, NIST 800 Series)
- Practical experience in information security management, security risk and compliance, threat management, cloud security or similar topics
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise :
- Experience in sales tasks for security consulting and / or security managed services
- Existing network to decision makers in industrial companies in Germany and Austria
- Knowledge of Financial Service Sector security requirements and frameworks
