TASKS WITH IMPACT

As an experienced expert, you are responsible for the international category management and development of our premium beauty category: Haircare / Beauty Accessories.

• You define the strategic direction and assortment of your category, its sub-categories and the relevant brands
• You scout new brands, manage the selection process, assess their potential and develop strategic brands within our existing assortment
• You analyze European market, retail and brand trends, deliver key competitive insights and act as a central interface to international stakeholders
• You steer assortment adjustments based on KPI-driven analyses, in close alignment with the DOUGLAS clusters
• You define group-wide assortment guidelines for our online and offline store formats as well as placement guidelines
• Together with adjacent departments, you create a customer-centric omnichannel shopping experience through the presentation of categories and brands. This includes navigation, visual merchandising concepts and special areas
  
  

Your Skills

• Successfully completed degree in business administration and a convincing career track record
• Several years of experience in category management, buying or sales with proven success in the beauty industry
• Highly advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Analytical work comes naturally to you, and you handle complex analyses with ease
• Willingness to travel approx. 15–20% for international responsibilities
• Business-fluent English; ideally a second foreign language such as French, Italian, Polish or Dutch
