The next big thing? The BCGers on the Business Development Team already know what it is. After all, it’s their job to stay on top of things and ensure our commercial excellence. Perfectly positioned at the interface between our leadership teams, consultants, and the market, they make sure everyone knows the right answers to the questions of the future—today.
What You'll Do
This role is essential in translating the Central Europe (CE) system’s commercial strategy into actionable initiatives within our Practice Areas (PA). You will support the CE Business Development (BD) Director in advancing our business development agenda by breaking it down to the Practice Area level and ensuring effective execution. In partnership with the CE BD Director, you will serve as a strategic thought partner to CE PA leaders, helping to shape and drive the agenda while acting as a key interface between people and business priorities.
In your role, you will also support the PA nodes in their day-to-day activities, including people planning, shaping PA meetings, and contributing to PA strategy development and implementation.
What You'll Bring
The Business Development (BD) Team serves as BCG’s commercial engine in Central Europe, driving growth, strategic investments, and effective resource deployment. Beyond these core responsibilities, the team ensures alignment between the commercial agenda and other key functional areas - such as Marketing, People, and Finance - across the system. The team is composed of the CE Business Development Chair, BD Senior Director, Practice Area Leaders, Finance, and Commercial Directors, along with their respective Business Services Teams (BST).
