From our European headquarters in Düsseldorf, Daikin Chemical Europe manages sales, marketing, and service activities to serve our customers across the EMEA region. Operating at the strategic interface between regional business units, European executive management, and Global Headquarters in Japan, our planning team provides key insights that support executive decision-making and operational alignment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analyses of budgets, forecasts, and sales results, preparing accurate performance reports
- Communicate daily with sales business units to collect qualitative market insights
- Maintain sales budgets and forecasts in close coordination with Japan HQ
- Coordinate review schedules, alignment meetings, and countermeasure discussions with executive leadership and cross-functional teams
- Monitor performance deviations, propose strategic countermeasures, and optimize planning processes and system utilization
- Create presentation materials for regional management meetings and support organization of internal corporate events
Your profile
- Commercial vocational training or a university degree in business administration, economics or a related field
- Professional experience in sales controlling, business assistance or finance/accounting within an international environment
- Proficiency in enterprise software and advanced skills in MS Office/Google Workspace
- Business fluency in written and spoken English and Japanese; German language skills are an advantage
- Strong numerical aptitude, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to collaborate in a multicultural environment and manage tasks independently against strict deadlines
