What You Can Expect In This Role

With a particular focus on architecture consulting and development, we are looking for an experienced IT Architect (f/m/d) with strong consulting expertise in IT solutions as well as an understanding of our customers’ business and commercial challenges. Our goal is to support our customers pragmatically in their day-to-day business across industries while also preparing them for digital transformation.

• Responsibility for the design, consulting and development of IT architectures and strategies in line with Fujitsu’s Data Driven Transformation Strategy (DDTS)
• Identifying customer requirements and designing IT solutions based on business needs in the role of a Trusted Advisor, as well as further developing existing IT architectures
• Evaluating IT concepts and their design in terms of technical feasibility, compliance with standards, cost-effectiveness and future viability
• Independently creating hardware and software configurations using the relevant tools and documenting the solution
• Deriving the necessary services from the requirements analysis and coordinating them from a technical perspective with the service delivery teams
• Actively generating leads together with Account Managers and Sales Specialists
• Conducting workshops and presentations for customers, partners and at exhibitions
  
  

The Qualifications You Should Bring

• Successfully completed degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience in IT architecture consulting with a focus on data centers, as well as a good overall understanding of IT infrastructures, IT platforms and cloud computing
• Good knowledge of hybrid IT, public, private and community cloud strategies, as well as modern architecture topics such as software-defined data centers, open source strategies and container technologies
• Knowledge of common operating systems as well as virtualization and high-availability solutions, e.g. Microsoft, VMware, and network technologies
• Strong customer orientation, good presentation skills, a high level of independence and reliability
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
