You as part of tonies:

As NPI Manager (all genders), you play a key role in driving the successful operational execution of new product launches and product changes. Reporting to the Head of NPI Operations, you own operational readiness for New Product Introductions (NPI), orchestrating critical milestones from order readiness through Start of Production (SOP) to first fulfilment to ensure On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) launches.

Your mission is to ensure that new products and changes are delivered on time, at target quality, and within budget by steering cross-functional execution across tonies’ global value chain. You act as the operational backbone of the launch process, bringing structure, transparency, and reliable execution.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Driving the New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from the development phase through mass production.
• Developing and maintaining integrated NPI project plans and milestones.
• Coordination of cross-functional teams across Product Industrialization, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and Procurement.
• Planning and execution of EVT, DVT, PVT and Mass Production builds.
• Proactively driving issue resolution, risk mitigation and escalation management.
• Ensuring manufacturing, supply chain and supplier readiness for product launch.
• Monitoring launch KPIs and report project status to stakeholders.
• Capturing lessons learned and drive continuous improvement of the NPI process.
  
  

What we are looking for:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
• 4–7 years of professional experience in NPI, program/project management, industrialization, or operations.
• Hands-on experience managing cross-functional projects in a manufacturing or product-driven environment (e.g., consumer electronics, toys).
• Experience in ramp-up management, supplier coordination, and production readiness.
• Familiarity with PLM, ERP, and/or MES systems is a plus.
• Fluency in English; conversational German (B2-C1)
