This is your chance to join the C&A team as a Pattern Maker Specialist (m/f/d) in our Düsseldorf office, starting in March 2027!

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain basic, block, and key style patterns to accurately execute design and fit requirements
• Create and document grading according to defined rules to ensure correct size scaling and consistency
• Apply established fit standards and participate in fit sessions to support consistent fit outcomes
• Adjust patterns to specific material properties to ensure quality, fit, and manufacturability
• Support Design and Garment Technicians in resolving pattern and workmanship issues within defined standards
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and handbooks to support standardized pattern-making processes
• Ensure compliance with defined technical standards and contribute to benchmarking and continuous improvement
• Maintain and update pattern libraries and archives to ensure accuracy, version control, and traceability
• Maintain accurate documentation and version control to support transparent pattern development
• Support Patternmakers with pattern development and corrections to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
  
  

What You Bring

• Completed education as a patternmaker, e.g., Patternmaker Training School or a university degree with a focus on pattern making
• Experience in basic pattern development and style adaptations
• Experience in CAD pattern construction and in developing new styles with complete documentation (style descriptions, construction details, detailed sketches, a list of all pattern components, fusing instructions, measurement- and grading charts, etc.)
• A good supply chain understanding with an apparel background
• Advanced communication skills in the English language
• Combine strong problem-solving agility with a structured and thorough approach to long-term responsibilities and project execution
