Build the Future of Technical Training Across EMEA

Fieldpiece is a global leader in professional HVACR tools and test instruments, known for developing innovative products that technicians rely on every day. As we continue to grow across Europe, we’re looking for a Technical Training & Service Manager to build and lead the next phase of our technical education and support organization.

This is a unique opportunity to become our first training management hire in EMEA and make a meaningful impact on how Fieldpiece supports technicians, distributors, partners, and employees throughout the region.

You’ll own technical training across EMEA – managing a small team of technical trainers located across multiple European countries and leading strategy and curriculum development to content, delivery, and measurement. This is a hands-on leadership role: you’ll build the program, develop your team, and continue to personally engage with customers and deliver training in the field.

You won’t be building it alone. You’ll work closely with an established training organization and experienced colleagues in the U.S., adapting global expertise and resources to the needs of the EMEA market.

This position is based in Germany and requires approximately 50% travel throughout Europe – mainly the UK, Italy, France, Benelux, Nordics, and DACH.

What You’ll Do

• Own and develop Fieldpiece’s EMEA technical training strategy, curriculum, and content to be delivered in the field and through video
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 3–4 technical trainers across Europe
• Create scalable, localized training programs for technicians, distributors, sales teams, ambassadors, and other partners and manage in an LMS
• Develop partnerships with training centers, educational institutions, and external training resources
• Oversee regional technical support and repair activities to ensure a strong customer experience
• Establish training goals, identify knowledge gaps, and measure program effectiveness
• Partner closely with EMEA leadership, Sales, Marketing, Product, and the U.S. training organization
• Continuously improve how technical knowledge and product expertise are delivered throughout EMEA
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
• 5+ years of experience in technical training with proven experience developing technical curriculum and delivering hands-on training
• 2+ years of experience leading, coaching, or developing a team
• Experience with HVAC/R systems, equipment, tools, or a closely related technical industry with a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and comfort working hands-on with technical products
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, practical training for different audiences
• Experience working across countries, cultures, and functions
• Fluent German and English and preference for Italian, French, or Dutch
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% throughout EMEA
