Sales Engineer (3D Printing Solution) (f/m/d) - #2709753

The Sales Engineer role supports business development activities and provides technical expertise relating to Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) 3D printing solutions across the European market. As part of the founding team of a newly established European organisation, the position offers an opportunity to contribute both technically and commercially to the growth of the business.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell SLS 3D printers, materials, and related solutions
• Identify customer requirements and provide technical consultation
• Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations
• Support benchmark printing projects and communicate evaluation results
• Provide technical support during customer implementation and post-sales activities
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events, including Formnext and Rapid + TCT
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams in Japan
• Gather market intelligence and customer feedback
• Support various activities associated with the growth of the European organisation
  
  
  
  

Requirements

• Practical experience with SLS 3D printing technology
• Strong technical knowledge of Additive Manufacturing technologies
• Ability to conduct technical discussions and solution-based sales activities with customers
• Business-level English communication skills
• Valid work authorisation in Germany
• Willingness to travel within Germany and across Europe
  
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of other Additive Manufacturing technologies, such as Multi Jet Fusion (MJF), Selective Laser Melting (SLM)/Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS), Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM), or Stereolithography (SLA)
• Experience supporting customers in the automotive, aerospace, industrial manufacturing, or medical device industries
• Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software and Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM)
• Business-level German and/or Japanese language skills
• Experience working in a start-up environment or supporting the establishment of a new business entity
