What You Will Be Doing

Your Role

You will support our team in Düsseldorf in software quality assurance, test automation, and the digitalization and automation of internal processes. Together, we will identify areas of responsibility that match your skills, interests, and development goals. You will have the opportunity to explore different topics and gradually shape your own focus areas throughout your time with us.

This position is intentionally designed to be flexible. Instead of a fixed set of responsibilities, we offer the opportunity to explore a variety of topics and develop your own area of expertise. Upon successfully completing projects or achieving specific goals, you can take on additional responsibilities and challenges. This provides broad exposure to Quality Engineering, Automation, Security, Accessibility, and data-driven process optimization.

Possible Responsibilities

Depending on your interests and qualifications, you may work in one or more of the following areas:

Quality Assurance & Testing

• Execute and enhance API testing activities
• Perform system and integration testing for smart locker solutions
• Support accessibility testing activities
• Evaluate, introduce, and utilize accessibility testing tools
• Document test results and track identified defects
• Analyze quality issues and develop improvement recommendations
  
  

Security Testing

• Conduct security scans using OWASP ZAP
• Support the identification and documentation of security risks
• Contribute to the improvement of security testing processes
  
  

Test Automation

• Support the development and enhancement of automated tests
• Maintain existing test automation frameworks
• Analyze manual testing activities and identify automation opportunities
  
  

Process Automation & Data Analytics

• Digitalize and automate internal processes using Microsoft Power Automate
• Support the development of dashboards and reports with Power BI
• Implement automated data integration from multiple systems
• Further develop a Balanced Scorecard and related KPI dashboards
• Analyze and visualize quality and process-related data
  
  

You will ideally have

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Interest in software quality, testing, automation, or data analytics
• Analytical mindset and structured approach to work
• Willingness to learn new technologies and tools
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
  
  

Experience with one or more of the following technologies is an advantage:

• APIs and REST interfaces
• Power BI
• Power Automate
• Python, PowerShell, or comparable scripting languages
• Test automation
• Security testing
• Accessibility testing
• Fluent English is required; German is a plus
