About This Position

What you´ll do

• Lead the Metal Pretreatment & Cleaners Product and Application Development Team within the Adhesive Metals Components (AMC) business unit
• Drive product development activities and technical customer support requests within the metal pretreatment technology portfolio
• Initiate, develop and optimize product formulations and surface treatment processes to meet customer and market requirements
• Identify and implement opportunities for cost optimization, raw material substitution and technical problem-solving
• Partner closely with Sales, Technical Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing and Quality teams to deliver innovative solutions and accelerate business growth
• Ensure safe and efficient laboratory operations in accordance with applicable safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement while developing and empowering team members
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support sustainable business growth and customer satisfaction
  
  

What makes you a good fit

• Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or a related scientific discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience within the chemical industry
• Strong technical expertise in metal pretreatment technologies, cleaners and coating systems
• Passion for technology combined with the ability to collaborate effectively in dynamic, diverse and results-oriented teams
• Proven people leadership capabilities with a strong commitment to developing, empowering and motivating team members to achieve their full potential
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in German is beneficial
