A global manufacturer specialising in drive technology is currently recruiting a Back Office Assistant to join its European headquarters near Dusseldorf. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career within an international and steadily growing company



You will support purchasing, sales administration, logistics and shipping operations while working closely with colleagues across multiple departments



The ideal candidate should have completed commercial vocational training, possess strong organisational skills, and be confident communicating in English. Previous ERP experience would be advantageous, although entry-level candidates are welcome to apply

Main Responsibilities:



• Handle purchasing activities, including import processes



• Process customer quotations, sales orders and related sales administration



• Review logistics and shipping documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance



• Support the shipping department with daily operational activities



• Maintain accurate records within the ERP system and other internal databases



• Communicate with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure efficient order processing



• Provide general commercial and administrative support to the office team




Ideal Candidate:



• Completed commercial vocational training



• Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply



• Previous experience using ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Business Central, would be advantageous



• Good written and spoken English and Polish/Hungarian language skills



• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications



• Experience with customs clearance is desirable



• Reliable, well organised and able to work effectively as part of a team




Condition:



• Location: suburb of Düsseldorf, Germany



• Working Style: Office-based (Hybrid working may be available after the training period, subject to company policy)



• Salary: €40,000–€45,000 per annum depending on experience



• Job Type: Permanent



• Working Hours: 08:30-17:00 Monday to Thursday, 08:30-16:00 Friday



• Start: Negotiable



• Benefits: Commuting allowance, 30 days' annual leave, free company parking space etc
