Fact Base Inc. is a fast-growing SaaS company transforming manufacturing operations through our cloud platform ZUMEN. After rapid expansion in Japan and Southeast Asia, we are now launching our first German operation to digitize the manufacturing backbone of the “Mittelstand”.
This is a founding full cycle Account Executive role, not a traditional sales position.
You will be responsible for executing and building the local sales motion from the ground up, creating a repeatable and scalable sales engine through direct field execution with manufacturing stakeholders.
This role is designed for high-performance individuals who thrive in structured, KPI-driven, field-based execution environments with full ownership of outcomes.
Why This Role Is Different
You are joining as the first full cycle Account Executive in Germany, responsible for building and executing the local sales motion from zero.
You will work within an existing structured sales framework while adapting it to the German manufacturing market through high-intensity field execution.
You will own the full customer lifecycle from prospecting through closing and early-stage adoption, including direct engagement with manufacturing stakeholders in real production environments.
As the business scales, this role is expected to evolve in stages:
- First, building a strong individual sales foundation and repeatable pipeline generation
- Next, stepping into a senior individual contributor or Section Manager–level role, supporting and developing additional team members
- Eventually, taking on broader Country Manager responsibilities as the organization matures in Germany
This progression is based on performance and business growth, not predefined timelines.
What You Will Do
Field-Based Market Execution
- Visit manufacturing sites across Germany to understand real production environments
- Identify operational challenges such as inefficiencies in time, cost, and quality
- Engage directly with factory leaders, engineers, and decision-makers
- Understand how manufacturing operations actually run on the ground
Full-Cycle Sales Ownership
- Proactively identify and reach out to new potential customers (including cold outreach and self-generated leads)
- Maintain a high level of outbound activity (including daily phone outreach) as part of building pipeline from scratch
- Build and manage your own pipeline end-to-end
- Run the full sales process from first contact to contract signature
- Own commercial outcomes end-to-end
Customer Onboarding & Early Adoption
- Support customers after contract signing in initial setup and adoption
- Work directly with users in manufacturing environments to ensure real usage
- Ensure measurable operational impact in early phases
- Collect structured feedback and share insights with product and commercial teams
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for individuals who thrive in high-intensity, structured, field-based execution environments.
You likely:
- Have B2B field sales experience
- Are comfortable working on-site with customers
- Take full ownership from prospecting through closing and early-stage adoption
- Are highly competitive, disciplined, and execution-focused
- Prefer clarity, speed, and measurable results over ambiguity
Experience in high-performance sales environments is highly valued.
Compensation
OTE: €80,000 – €140,000+ depending on experience and performance.
Breakdown:
- Approximately 75% of OTE: base compensation and expected overtime earnings
- Approximately 25% of OTE: variable commission based on performance, capped at 200% of target achievement (paid semi-annually in May and November)
Base compensation is subject to performance-based review and adjustment aligned with commission cycles.
Standard working time is approximately 40 hours per week, with additional time depending on customer visits and business needs.

Based in Düsseldorf, Germany
Work structure:
- Approximately 2 days per week office-based (planning and coordination)
- Approximately 3 days per week field-based, visiting manufacturing sites across Germany
