Business Development Manager - Germany
Let’s Build the Future Together – With Clean Energy
At Sunrock, we don’t just offer jobs — we offer missions. Are you ready to advance your career and contribute to a sustainable future? As part of our fast-growing team in Germany, you'll help accelerate the clean energy transition across Europe. We believe in purpose over routine, people over hierarchy, and progress over comfort zones. As part of our dynamic, fast-growing team, you'll help lead the clean energy transition across Europe — not from the sidelines, but from the front.
We’re not just building solar systems. We’re building a better tomorrow — together.
About Sunrock
Sunrock is a market leader in large-scale rooftop solar installations in the Netherlands, Germany and France. But our ambitions go far beyond solar: we deliver integrated energy solutions including energy management systems, advanced battery storage, and our own energy trading platform.
In Germany, we've already secured over 200 MWp in project volume, targeting commercial and logistics real estate. As we expand rapidly, we’re strengthening partnerships with key industry players—and we’re looking for passionate professionals to join us on this journey.
Your Role: Business Development Manager
As a Business Development Manager at Sunrock, you won't just drive sales — you focus on building long-term energy partnerships that help reshape Germany’s industrial and real estate landscape.
You’ll serve as a strategic sparring partner to leading logistics developers, asset managers, and corporate sustainability teams — people who are navigating big questions about climate goals, infrastructure transformation, and long-term energy security. Your ability to listen deeply, understand business and operational realities, and offer pragmatic, future-ready solutions will make you a trusted voice.
Your success will come from building authentic connections — founded on trust, empathy, and shared ambition.
You’ll work closely with our internal development, legal, and technical teams to ensure a seamless handover and flawless execution, acting as the bridge between commercial opportunity and operational excellence.
This is a role for someone who thrives in motion. You'll help make Sunrock a visible and in the German market, not just as a solar provider, but as a trusted, values-led clean energy partner.
What You’ll Do
A great and dynamic team that enjoys what they do
An attractive compensation and bonus system
Regular team events with the entire Sunrock family
A modern, flexible work environment in Dusseldorf and Hamburg (including hybrid options)
DeutschlandTicket and/or Bahncard
Home office possible when there are no urgent matters at the office
30 vacation days
Several benefits, such as an Urban Sports Club membership, Corporate Benefits and additional allowances
Join the Energy Revolution
At Sunrock, we celebrate diversity and foster an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive. Over 90% of our team recommends Sunrock as a great place to work—and we want to keep it that way.|
