What You´ll Do

• Lead and support data analytics and modeling and digital twin projects, empowering Product Development, Production, and Technical Customer Service
• Analyze complex processes to optimize material performance in applications
• Develop, implement, and deploy data and theory-based modeling methods to add value to Henkel’s Adhesive Technologies
• Integrate modeling methods of various detail (system, process, components, materials) linking to live data streams and databases to create digital twins
• Share specialized knowledge within the organization and consult with Adhesive Business Units on statistics and data analytics
• Participate actively in global cross-functional teams and engage with customers
  
  

What makes you a good fit

• PhD or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Data Science, or a related field
• Domain expertise in material modeling and chemistry is highly beneficial, especially with a strong focus on formulation development and the prediction of target properties using data-driven approaches to drive efficiency in product development and application engineering
• Experience in one or more of the following areas is desirable: Translating business or technical questions into actionable insights through data analysis and visualization or Developing digital twin solutions—virtual replicas of formulations, tests, or manufacturing setups—to simulate, monitor, and optimize performance and efficiency
• Experience in applied data science and analytics to solve real-world problems, including statistical analysis, data interpretation, machine learning techniques, and advanced visualization methods
• Programming skills in scripting languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB; familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) is a plus
• Familiarity with experimental design (DoE) and tools such as Minitab or JMP is beneficial
• Fluent in English
