Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, the Global Product Manager is responsible for managing and growing their product portfolio. Many Product Managers mature to take on leadership roles with increasing responsibility. The role allows you to learn while making contributions that shape the future of the organization and the markets we operate in. You can improve customer experience and solve valuable problems. You will be responsible for delivering tangible results that impact on the value of the business. You will be expected to contribute to improving our business processes and how we get work done.

This position is part of the Global Product Management function with locations in the USA and Europe. At Hach, we recognize the benefits of flexible, hybrid working arrangements for eligible roles. This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement in which you can work part-time at the Company locations ( Cork, Ireland/ Düsseldorf Germany ) part-time remotely from your home. Additional information about this hybrid work arrangement will be provided by your interview team. Relocation support is offered if you do not reside near a Hach location.

In This Role, a Typical Day Will Look Like

  • Lead or be part of global, cross-functional teams
  • Develop product strategy and put it into action
  • Execute and manage business plans focused on growth and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct business research and analysis
  • Identify and solve problems, overcome barriers

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical or business discipline like science, engineering, technology, economics, commerce. MBA is highly valued.
  • More than 2 years of professional work experience preferably in a related industry like environmental, analytical, manufacturing, instrumentation
  • Functional experience in product management, marketing, innovation, development, strategy, commercial or related functions
  • Willingness to travel domestically or internationally up to 20% of the time
  • Fluent in English and basic competence in the language of the company location
  • Authorization to work in the country of the company location
