Global business consulting company is looking to hire a Payroll Expert to lead their payroll delivery out of Dusseldorf, Germany (Hybrid, full time).

How Does The Job Look Like
- Responsible for overseeing and directing payroll procedures, ensuring compliance with laws and tax obligations, supervising the payroll team, and maintaining accurate payroll records
- Coordinate activities with other client departments to ensure successful testing and implementation of tax updates, year-end testing on multiple or single payroll ERP for all regions
- Broad understanding and ability to research and interpret payroll laws
- Ensures compliance with applicable payroll tax and labor law requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience of German payroll processing experience
- Experience to work with international (offshore) teams
- Good experience in coordinating Payroll inputs and validation
- Experience in HRMS/ERP like (SAP, SuccessFactors, workday etc.) and in MS Office
- Fluency in Germany and in English
- Hybrid work model - 2 days working from office in Dusseldorf and 3 days working from home
- Working for a major sustainable Energy Provider
