What You Will Do
- Champion customer success by serving as a trusted advisor—building strong, long-term relationships, driving satisfaction, and supporting adoption of Oracle Data Platform solutions.
- Partner closely with the sales team to deeply understand customer data and infrastructure requirements, collaborating across Oracle Cloud teams to ensure proposed solutions align strategically and technically.
- Develop and deliver compelling technical proposals, architecture presentations, and solution documentation that articulate the value of Oracle’s Data Platform, including Autonomous Database, Exadata, and OCI services.
- Design robust, scalable, and secure data architectures leveraging Oracle’s IaaS and PaaS portfolio, aligned to industry best practices and tailored to customer goals.
- Translate complex business challenges into visionary data platform strategies, using capability models, data modernization assessments, and cloud-native architecture design.
- Lead and orchestrate cross-functional teams to accelerate customer adoption of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and modern database solutions, ensuring successful design, implementation, and governance across enterprise environments.
- Technical Expertise with Communication Strength: Ability to articulate complex data platform and cloud architecture concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including C-level executives.
- Customer-Centric Problem Solving: Strategic mindset with strong analytical skills, focused on understanding customer business goals and translating them into innovative data-driven solutions that deliver measurable value.
- Cloud Proficiency: In-depth experience with cloud infrastructure and platform services (IaaS, PaaS), particularly in data-centric services such as Autonomous Database, Oracle Exadata, and Oracle Data Lakehouse; awareness of AI/ML integration opportunities.
- Solution Architecture Experience: Proven success in customer-facing roles such as Cloud Architect, Pre-Sales Engineer, or Solution Engineer, with emphasis on enterprise data platform modernization and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures.
- Relevant Experience: Typically, 5+ years in enterprise technology roles, with 2+ years specializing in public cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data solution delivery.
Nice to have experience
- Relevant certifications from Oracle and other hyperscalers (e.g., OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP), particularly in cloud architecture, data engineering, or database services.
- Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with the full cloud adoption lifecycle—from strategy and migration to optimization and governance.
- Solid background in Oracle Database technologies, including Exadata, Autonomous Database, and Oracle GoldenGate.
- Exposure to modern cloud-native and open-source technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Terraform, Apache Spark) and their integration with Oracle solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Industry Leadership: Oracle's cloud solutions are recognized for their innovation, security, and scalability.
