Join an international team that thrives on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting our operational and administrative processes across our European branches.

This position can be based in one of our European offices, offering flexibility and the chance to work in a truly global setting.

Your new role:


  • Determine own work priorities and activities in line with agreed plans to ensure the achievement of personal and team objectives/SLA
  • Handle administrative work from our German QBE branch and eventually other European branches including payment and recovery processing.
  • Work with business representatives to identify, document and agree current business processes to develop knowledge and identify opportunities for improvements and efficiencies.
  • Develop process improvement proposals for agreement with the relevant business stakeholders and senior management team, in order to inform decision making and action planning.
  • Update understanding and knowledge of internal systems, procedures and personnel in order to ensure process documentation is fresh and relevant. As part of a team, maintain the Business Process Library and supporting data to ensure accurate information is available which enhances knowledge, information sharing and reporting.
  • Engages and communicates effectively with business stakeholders, business owners, business support functions and representatives in order to manage and conduct analysis and to ensure deliverables meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with key internal stakeholders to facilitate efficient operational procedures and enhanced sharing of knowledge and information.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert for designated business functions or departments, in order to provide guidance and advice on business processes and documentation.
  • Produce detailed, accurate and effective documentation using appropriate tools and techniques, providing a clear and detailed record of activity.
  • Actively undertake personal development to ensure up to date skills and knowledge.
  • Develops own knowledge of QBE standard procedures and processes.
  • Acts as a point of reference to guide and advise others to ensure the sharing of knowledge and best practice.
  • Supports others in the team to assist in the achievement of their objectives.



Your profile:

Preferred Competencies & Skills


  • Strong ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Flexible, eager to learn, and comfortable managing new or evolving tasks
  • Well-organized with solid time management and analytical skills
  • Clear and concise communicator, able to engage effectively at all levels
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel



Language Requirements


  • Fluency in English is required
  • Proficiency in another European language is preferred. French or German is a plus.



Preferred Experience


  • Previous experience in the insurance market in a business-facing or operational role



Preferred Knowledge


  • Solid understanding of general insurance and London market practices, infrastructures, and initiatives
  • Familiarity with business analysis and process mapping techniques and tools
  • Good project management skills and knowledge of relevant methodologies and tools
