The Role
As an Associate People Partner looking after our employees based in Germany, you will play a key role in supporting the employee experience and people operations in our Düsseldorf office. Partnering closely with the EMEA People team in London, you will provide first-line People support to employees and managers, contributing to the development of a positive, high-performance workplace culture in Germany.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a self starter, who knows what good looks like, takes pride in running smooth People operations and is eager to support the growth of a global business with strong local expertise.
What You’ll Do
Act as a trusted first point of contact for employees in Germany, providing guidance on People policies, procedures and operational queries
Able to build meaningful relationship with stakeholders
Work with People managers on People related matters such as performance management and employee relations, escalating complex issues where needed to the EMEA team
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and help adapt global people policies to the German market
Administer key employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, off boarding, references, contract management, right to work documentation and HRIS data updates
Liaise with our payroll provider to ensure timely and accurate monthly processing
Collaborate with the wider EMEA People team to support people initiatives, engagement programs and local implementation of global projects
Assist in employer branding and talent attraction by supporting recruitment operations and ensuring a strong candidate and employee experience
Provide administrative support for coaching programs, employee wellbeing initiatives and diversity & inclusion efforts
What We’re Looking For
Hands on HR experience gained in a generalist environment
Knowledge of German labor law and related People compliance matters
Independent, self starter and curious
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and willingness to learn
Excellent communication skills in both German and English
A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field is a plus
