The Senior Field Application Specialist is responsible for technical leadership in circular economy markets and will support winning our most important strategically-aligned opportunities. The main objectives is to secure wins on exclusive win-the-spec opportunities being a key opinion leader in our industry.

This position reports to the Sales Director, Europe, Energy+ business unit and is part of the regional European sales team. The associate is working remotely. The preferred countries of residence are Germany, France, Spain, Italy or Poland.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Provide Technical Leadership for assigned market(s)
• Lead as an ambassador, strategist, and negotiator to secure wins aligned with Energy+ strategy, including exclusive WTS wins and existing product sales in the assigned market(s)
• Develop and maintain Strategies and Opportunities via Initiatives and specific projects
• Market Insights (Trends & Drivers, Competition, Technology, Partners)
• Regional expert on regulations and policy related to the assigned market(s) and geography
  
  

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering, or related field, or over 10 years of experience in technical filtration support
• 3+ years of experience in assigned market(s) with demonstrated technical ability in the relevant key technologies, experience in filtration is preferred
• Experience working on simple and complex projects in the Energy Transition, Chemical, Refinery, and/or Oil & Gas industries is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work across an organization, collaborate with stakeholders and other cross support division, across the organization
• Proven ability to coach sales, sales support and external customers.
• Willingness to challenge the status quo and think creatively to support continuous improvement.
  
  

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel about min. 50% of time across Europe. The territory includes besides mainland Europe, STAN countries, Baltics and Turkey. Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  
  

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Fluent in another language beside English.
  
  

The Sr Field Application Specialist is a subject matter expert who provides technical application expertise and value creation to customers to competitively differentiate our products and ensure we provide the best techno-economical solutions that meet client needs and specifications in the assigned markets.

Ability to travel about min. 50% of time in Europe is expected. The territory includes besides mainland Europe, STAN countries, Baltics and Turkey. Therefore a valid drivers licence is essential.
