About This Position

6 Months internship within Global Packaging Dangerous Goods Compliance Team. What should you expect? Supporting colleagues in Adhesive Technologies Business Unit in relation to selection of packaging, by providing technical evaluations of product and pack suitability.

What You´ll Do

• Assist colleagues in identifying and sourcing various packaging options internally and externally
• Support Packaging colleagues with compliance risk assessment, included cross regional hazardous materials transport assessment
• Assist colleagues with the identification of new packaging technologies and packaging materials including innovative and recycled material from several sources with focus on Dangerous Goods packaging
• Create specifications for Henkel operations and other business functions
• Be involved in packaging development projects for new and existing products. e.g. packaging and labelling projects, special projects
  
  

What makes you a good fit

• Currently enrolled student in engineering or physical science e.g. production engineering, polymer science, material science, chemistry, engineering design, mechanical engineering
• Interest in packaging technology, product development or packaging Dangerous Goods compliance
• Fluency in English language is required, knowledge of another language e.g. German or Spanish is a plus
• Previous experience working in the chemical or packaging industry be beneficial but not essential
• Good IT skills in MS Office, SharePoint, SAP is an advantage but not essential
• Profound organizational skills, sense of organization and capacity of meeting projects deadlines
• Strong relationship skills with good communication, organization and agility
• Aptitude for presenting would be valuable

We offer you an attractive salary between € 1050-2095. The exact amount of the remuneration depends on the desired duration, the type of internship (voluntary or mandatory) and existing degrees.
