As a Merchandising Specialist, you will play a key role in creating profitable product assortments that align with our financial goals and overall brand strategy. Collaborating closely with our (Senior) Merchandisers, you will support the planning and development of specific product categories and gender assortments, ensuring they meet or exceed the seasonal financial targets.
This role requires attendance at our Düsseldorf office three times a week.

As a Merchandising Specialist, you will play a key role in creating profitable product assortments that align with our financial goals and overall brand strategy. Collaborating closely with our (Senior) Merchandisers, you will support the planning and development of specific product categories and gender assortments, ensuring they meet or exceed the seasonal financial targets.
This role requires attendance at our Düsseldorf office three times a week.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist the (Senior) Merchandiser in daily operations, take ownership of assortment width (style/option/size) to achieve turnover targets across various store levels and online/marketplace channels
- Prepare the analysis for best-seller management, including Big Bet product initiatives that will deliver long-term growth foundations
- Support in building the optimum range by store profile, considering location, square meter, geography, market specifics, demographics, and spending power, in alignment with consumer needs and to deliver the planned turnover per square meter
- Ensure profitability by optimizing gross and net margins through pricing, markdown management, and collaboration with stakeholders
- Monitor consumer pricing across regions, providing recommendations for an effective pricing mix
- Support the Merchandising Coordinator during peak periods with PLM and meeting preparations
- Analyze product lifecycles, market trends, and competition to develop strategic, consumer-driven assortments
- 1–2 years of retail buying experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify growth opportunities
- Solid understanding of business principles, garment construction, costing, and fabrics
- Effective collaboration and communication with stakeholders
- Detail-oriented, solution-driven, and passionate about fashion, always striving to deliver the best product for the consumer
- Good command of spoken & written English
