Your tasks

Position Summary: We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our European team based in Düsseldorf. You will be responsible for driving sales of our fine chemicals across Europe and North America. Your role will be instrumental in growing our customer base, shaping product strategy and strengthening our global brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets for our fine chemical products in international markets, particularly in Europe and North America.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and sales agencies.
• Formulate and implement effective product sales strategies based on market research and data analysis.
• Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities and segments.
• Manage the end-to-end sales process, from inquiry to order fulfillment and after-sales support.
• Coordinate closely with departments at our Chinese headquarters (production, logistics, finance).
• Represent Enzymaster at trade fairs, conferences (biocatalysis, fine chemicals, pharma, food & feed etc.) and promotional events.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to adjust strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
• Work closely with our R&D team in Ningbo to propose the development of new market-oriented products.
  
  

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medicine, Business (MBA) or any related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in sales within the chemical/pharmaceutical industry, or 5+ years in general product trading.
• Familiarity with regulatory affairs (e.g. REACH, EFSA, FDA) and international trade procedures is a strong advantage.
• Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Europe, and occasionally to the US and China for visiting the parent company.

Additional Information: You will be employed by Enzymaster Deutschland GmbH, the fully owned German subsidiary of Enzymaster (Ningbo). The role reports directly to the EVP International Business in Germany, with a dotted-line report to the Sales Director in Hangzhou, China. A residence in the wider Düsseldorf region is preferred.
