What You'll Do
As someone who enjoys organizing, coordinating, and navigating multiple internal stakeholders across departments and seniority levels, you’ll thrive in this role. Communication—both written and spoken—is at the heart of what you’ll do. You should be confident engaging with a wide range of colleagues across Central Europe.
As a communications professional with initial experience, you’ll be part of the Corporate Communications team. Along with the other members of this team, you’ll shape how BCG presents itself both internally and externally—to its employees, alumni, and clients, as well as to the press and the general public.
With creative ideas and strong storytelling skills, you’ll bring internal communication channels to life and foster impactful interactions. You’ll lead the development and preparation of concepts and content for a broad range of internal communications formats, including mailings, videos, podcasts, lock screens, office displays, and internal events. You’ll also drive internal communications initiatives and create presentations for the Leadership Team of BCG Central Europe—for internal events and selected external appearances.
In addition, you’ll advise teams and departments across Central Europe—particularly in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland—on implementing communications measures with a 360-degree view. Project management will be one of your responsibilities as will working in close alignment with key senior stakeholders. You’ll also contribute ideas to help advance and improve our internal communications strategy.
YOU’RE GOOD AT
You’ll be part of a ten-member Corporate Communications team,working closely with your colleagues in Marketing and Communications in the Düsseldorf, Munich, Vienna, Zurich, Budapest Prague and Warsaw offices. Your manager will assist you in familiarizing yourself with the company and developing professionally. You will also always be able to draw on the experience of your coworkers.

- You’re an expert in developing and implementing internal communications formats, bringing strong conceptual excellence and advisory skills that enable you to consult effectively at the senior level.
- You have solid project management experience, leading projects with a high level of ownership. You think in line with the 360-degree principle and know how to tailor content for all relevant channels in an audience-appropriate way.
- You are a proficient writer with an excellent sense of style and can translate complex business topics into engaging and accessible content for specific audiences.
- You skillfully apply your storytelling abilities to create impactful and relevant communications.
- With your strong communication skills, networking comes naturally to you, and you know how to reach goals collaboratively—both with your team and across internal departments.
- You’re quick to grasp new topics and are always willing to dive into unfamiliar territory. Along the way, you generate strong ideas that help drive your team forward—because for you, “good” is never good enough.
- You see yourself as both highly organized and adaptable, able to keep a cool head and perform effectively even under pressure.
- You have a university degree, ideally in communications, economics, or the social sciences.
- You have professional experience in the field of communications—ideally several years—preferably gained in a consulting firm, communications agency, or editorial office.
- You’ve had the opportunity to gain experience in developing and implementing leadership communication formats.
- You bring strong conceptual excellence and a high level of advisory competence.
- Ideally, you already have initial leadership experience.
- You have excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
