We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible support and help grow the whole PHINIA Aftermarket brand and product portfolio with all points of the DACH distribution network, with main focus on Diesel workshops and warehouse distributors with focus on Diesel or heavy duty. This position includes retaining and developing current customers, identifying any new opportunities at factor and garage level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth objectives within the Diesel and Heavy-Duty segment.
  • Identify potential clients and business opportunities through market research and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Prepare and present reports on sales performance and business development activities.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and client satisfaction.
  • Successfully promote and leverage PHINIA product leadership
  • Represents PHINIA and it’s Brands (Delphi, Delco Remy) on workshop level, support colleagues with frequent roadshows, regional trade shows and similar events
  • Support Diagnostic development with Remote Service
  • Fully understands the obligations and liabilities related to the contractual agreements made by the company and fully proficient in reviewing and complying with contracts for programs in enterprise.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical or commercial
  • min. 5 years of experience in Automotives, Aftermarket
  • Fluent in German and good communications skills in English
  • Effective communication and presentation skills; ability to effectively interact with customers and all levels of the management team
  • Strong team and individual-based critical thinking skills
  • Elevated level of initiative, energy, and drive to do the work of prospecting, relationship building and follow up
  • Team oriented and good skills to collaborate with the various stakeholders
  • Adaptable and ability to manage multiple projects or responsibilities smoothly
  • Strong affinity to engine technologies and Diesel technologies in the IAM
  • Willingness to travel is required.
